| First few steps for GGTPro |

![]() This is a site dedicated to being a well established ladder-system as well as being a positive place for all members, with the ability to be a social networking place. There are many things that needs to be done to start off here, and this post is how to set up everything from registering to setting up Challenges in the ladders. If you still have any questions about the site; please contact any one of the Staff members here who are on the site around the clock and can help with anything. Creating An Account - This is an easy process as all that is needed is a Username (preferably your XBL gamertag), a valid e-mail address, and a password. - Once you have filled out the appropriate fields, you must verify yourself from an email sent to you. (Note: Some members have had their verification email go into their Junk Email folder, so please check through yours before notifying a Staff member here at GGT Pro) Modifying Your Account - Once your account is created, you are free to edit anything in it. There are sections for an "About Me" and "Interests" as well as fields for MSN or AIM. - To do this, simply click the "Manager" link found right below the Welcome Message on the upper-right corner of your page. Contacting Other Members - The easiest way to search for other members is simply going to the search bar on top; it can be as vague as typing only one letter, and every member with that letter are included in the search. It can also be as concise as a members entire user name; and will only contain their name in search. - From there, you are able to click on the members profile, view; either comment their page, send them a PM, invite them onto your team (will be explained later), or block the user from contact. Joining Ladders / Creating a Team - On the left column, there is a tab titled "Ladders". In there, you are able to join whatever ladders are open at that current point in time (ladders are managed by Staff members). - To join, you simply fill out whichever fields are needed, and proceed to the next screen. - Rules and Regulations of the tournament you are attempting to sign up for will pop up, and you must accept the terms before your team is made completely. - To invite other members onto your team, simply go back to their profile and select "Invite Member" Creating Matches / Challenging Members - There are two simple ways of finding certain members you want to challenge. * Going back to the ladder you are a part of, and finding other members in there. * Going to the search bar, and finding members on your own. - With both, you must view their profile and select "Challenge" which is located front and center. - When challenge is set return to your team page and towards the bottom of the page u will now find your name and the person you have challenged name, click on the calender next to it as a challenger and fill in all aspects with an asterisk beside it. The challenged member must then view there team profile and click the calender on their end and click Accept on the challenge. -play out the game on the platform chosen and the loser will need to report the loss -When setting up the calender inside of the extra notes portion of the calender please enter the gamer tag you will be using on the platform you will be playing on. (Note: You and the member you are challenging must both be on a team AND in the same ladder.) |
